Executive

The role of the Executive Team is to manage the Academy Strategy and so oversee the longer term planning and strategic direction of the Academy and ensuring an effective interface between the Council and the Academy Office. Please see the Executive committee terms of reference for more information.

Members of the Executive serve for five years, with one year in each of the roles of Vice Chair, Deputy Chair, Chair, Vice President and finally President. Each year, a new Vice Chair is elected from Council by Council members.

Council

The role of Council is to formulate strategy and policy, and to implement strategy through its subcommittee structure and in conjunction with the Executive and Academy office. More information on the Council's subcommittee structure can be found in the Governance and Structure section.
