Body of paper/abstract:
If submitting a developmental paper, please include some comments on how you plan to develop the paper prior to discussion/presentation at the conference.
For a symposium/workshop proposal please indicate likely format/ design, plus ideal length, room configuration and audience size.
Decision Process
All submissions will be refereed anonymously and decisions on acceptance will be communicated by the Track Chair. Referees will be asked to consider the quality of ideas, methodology, (potential) theoretical contribution, clarity of presentation, and potential interest to other participants. They will be judged against the norms of the category in which they are submitted.
The authors of both full and developmental submissions will have until Thursday 30 June to make final amendments resulting from the refereeing process and to upload the final version.
Submissions will ONLY be accepted into the category to which they are submitted. There will be NO swapping of papers between categories during the refereeing stage.
20 July - papers and draft Track schedules available online
Design of Conference and Presentations
Full papers will be allocated 30 mins (20 mins presentation, 10 mins discussion). Developmental papers will also have 30 minutes allocated, but will be presented in 'round table' format where a number of round tables will be scheduled in parallel and hence the audience is likely to be smaller. In all cases it is intended that presenters and the chair/discussant for each session will have read each other's papers in advance (access to papers will be online to those registered to attend, approximately one month prior to the event).
Full paper presentations will be made using a laptop and data projector. You will be asked to bring your presentation to the event on a memory stick, for use on the day, along with sufficient copies of a slide handout for your audience.
Developmental (round table) presentations will not be provided with any audio visual equipment and authors are strongly advised to bring a handout of their paper for use on the day.
The design of symposium/workshop sessions will be through agreement with Track and Conference Chairs.
