Council for Hospitality Management Education 20th Annual Research Conference 2011
This conference is sponsored by the Council for Hospitality Management Education (CHME); CHME is a non-profit making organisation representing universities and colleges offering higher education programmes in the fields of hospitality studies, hospitality management, and related fields. It is CHME’s stated purpose to contribute to the professional development and status of hospitality management education, through the sharing of best practice in scholarship and pedagogy. This conference is the 20th Annual Research Conference organised by CHME. It is envisaged that the conference will appeal to experienced and new esearchers, as well as those actively involved in teaching and learning and the development of best ractice in curriculum design and delivery. Submissions from colleagues from universities and colleges outside of the UK are particularly welcomed. The international nature of the Research Conference is a growing feature of the event and organisers are keen to continue the progress made in preceding years. Contributions are invited to a series of thematic streams, for each of these we have secured agreement from a number of refereed journals to publish selected papers.
This years conference will be hosted in our iconic new building the Carnegie Pavilion, opened in July 2010 the building is used in conjunction with our partners Yorkshire County Cricket.
