Positions at Grenoble Ecole de Management

The Positions

The Marketing Department of Grenoble Ecole de Management invites applications for several positions at the assistant, associate, or full professor level with a starting date of September 2012. New faculty will be expected to teach mostly graduate and post-graduate courses (in English and/or French) and to contribute to the Department’s research efforts and reputation. Ability to teach Digital Marketing would be an added advantage.
 

The Institution

Grenoble Ecole de Management (www.grenoble-em.com) is a fast growing business school located at the foot of the French Alps in a vibrant and growing metropolitan area with a strong emphasis on high-tech industries (especially nanotechnologies, microelectronics, and energy). The School benefits from this community and has established a strong reputation in the management of technology and innovation. Grenoble Ecole de Management has the triple accreditation AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA. Degrees awarded include Masters (with 3 specialized masters in Marketing), MBAs, DBAs, and PhDs. Grenoble Ecole de Management is regularly ranked among the top 20 business schools in Europe; in 2010, its Master of International Business program was ranked 5th in the Financial Times Global Masters ranking.
 

The Department

The Marketing Department at Grenoble Ecole de Management currently consists of 18 permanent faculty members with varied research interests in Marketing Strategy or Consumer Behavior. The Department was recently ranked 1st in France for research in marketing (Le Point 2011 ranking). Our faculty has published in leading international journals such as Journal of Marketing Research, International Journal of Research in Marketing, or Marketing Letters. Resources for faculty include a behavioral lab and subject pool, a generous research budget, and competitive compensation with an additional research-based bonus system.
 

Candidate Requirements

Successful candidates should demonstrate their commitment and ability to conduct excellent academic research with the objective of publishing in top-ranked journals (senior candidates should have an established international research record and network, junior candidates the potential to develop a top-level research agenda). Candidates should also demonstrate their ability to teach successfully for various levels and audiences and their willingness to be involved in the institution. The open positions are not focusing on any particular topic or research approach, and we are welcoming applications with research and teaching expertise in any area of marketing.
