2010 Annual Review
The reporting process is in 2 sections.
Section 1
It is a requirement of Charities Acts to account for all funds dispersed by the Charity, and that such expenditure is authorised by the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Company.
To comply, each SIG must submit an Annual Report and Statement of Accounts for the Year end at 31 December each year.
SIGs should submit a written report on activities in the preceding calendar year, to the SIG Administrator, by 31 January each year.
- Listed below are the contents required in Annual Reports.
- Annual reports should be submitted electronically to the SIG Administrator who can also provide informal guidance about the preparation of financial plans in the first instance.
SIGs in the developmental or Start up phase who have not received any funding should still produce a short report to the Coordination Group in January indicating
- Names and contact details for organising committee or equivalent
- Draft Constitution
- Activities undertaken since receiving approval for Start up
- Any expenditure incurred covered by BAM
- Current membership
- Intended date of application for Full approval.
All SIG Annual Reports must include(in the body of the report or as appendices)
- Full name of SIG
- Administrative arrangements: current organising committee members and roles, contact details, any changes during the past year.
- Chair’s report - Activities undertaken and outputs produced during the past year, including BAM conference track / sessions (number of papers submitted and accepted, any innovative approaches etc.), workshops, seminars, SIG publications (including web-based dissemination) etc.
- Accounts – Income and Expenditure during the past year, in the form of a simple Income and Expenditure Account (Annex 3 b).
- SIG Constitution (as an appendix - including Aims and Objectives, and any changes made during past year).
Section 2 - (for full details see Annex 3a)
- Proposed Activities for the coming year, including details of activities planned, including contribution to BAM conference
- Budget and request for funding for coming year-need to align with dates in annex 3
- List of current members (i.e. the list you have been using to mail to, as supplied by BAM office).
