 Derek Pugh, 1930 - 2015

It is with great sadness that we convey to you the news that Professor Derek Pugh passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Thursday 29th January.

Derek was one of Britain’s best known and most beloved members of BAM. He was very well respected and made an outstanding contribution to the business and management research community. He was a modest and wise man who has left his mark and will be sadly missed by us, hundreds of colleagues, and thousands of students worldwide.

David Hickson, 1931 - 2016

We have received the sad news in recent weeks of the death of one of our BAM Fellows. Professor David Hickson who passed away on Wednesday 22nd June aged 85.

David made an outstanding contribution to our field and to the quality of many people’s lives.
