We are delighted to announce that the 2019 Irish Academy of Management Conference will be held in Dublin in the National College of Ireland from the 28th to 30th, August 2019. The college welcomes delegates to the 22nd IAM Annual Conference in our modern city campus situated in the heart of Dublin’s Financial Services Centre. The theme of the conference; ‘Responsible Management’ reflects a current call globally to re-orient research and teaching in Business Schools in order to address core societal principles. These include, providing a service to society, involving key stakeholders, assessing social impact and addressing sustainable development. This conference seeks to explore and advance how business and management scholarship can be at the forefront and central, to solving society’s current challenges.
The IAM Conference 2019 will attend to these key challenges and are delighted to welcome two high profile keynote speakers: Professor Anne Tsui (Distinguished Adjunct Professor, University of Notre Dame, U.S.A.; 67th President, Academy of Management) and Professor Peter McKiernan (Distinguished Professor at University of Strathclyde and Vesalius College, Brussels) and a member of the Dean’s Group of the BAM College of Fellows. Both are co–founders of the global project on “Responsible Research in Business and Management”.
In addition to the keynote speeches and paper presentations, the conference will also feature: a Doctoral Colloquium; a Meet the Editors session; an Early Career Workshop; a Professional Development Workshop and Special Interest Groups symposia.
