Webinar: Exploring Assessment Issues in a Virtual Environment

PLEASE NOTE THIS WEBINAR IS AVAILABLE TO BAM MEMBERS ONLY

___________________________________________________________________________

Description

This session explores assessment issues experienced by early-career academic colleagues and other teaching practitioners as they transition into a virtual environment. Both formative and summative assessment are explored. While there may be some forms of assessment that may be impacted minimally, e.g. written assessments, teaching in a virtual environment may require us to rethink the way we design and approach assessments to work with the technologies available to us. The focus of the webinar is to learn from one another in how we make the transition from traditional mode to an online environment, highlighting what worked and what did not.
