This webinar will be an opportunity to meet the editors of our leading BAM and ANZAM journals, for those seeking to get an editorial perspective on and practical advice on publishing. The session will be facilitated by Madeleine Barrows, CEO of the British Academy of Management (BAM), and Kerry Brown, President of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM).
Our panel of editors includes:
British Journal of Management (BJM)
- Prof Shlomo Tarba, University of Birmingham, UK
International Journal of Management Reviews (IJMR)
- Dr Dermot Breslin, University of Sheffield, UK
Journal of Management & Organization (JMO)
- Prof Remi Ayoko, University of Queensland, Australia
The webinar will commence with a short overview by the editors that cover critical information about each journal (such as types of articles sought) and what they expect from good submissions (do’s and don’ts). The editors will discuss specific issues concerning conceptual development, research methods, data analysis and how to demonstrate your paper’s added value (answering the ‘so what’ question). The session will be open for participants to share both positive and negative experiences of researching, writing, revising and publishing.
The event will take place on Wednesday 27th January at 8:00am London time, 6:00pm Brisbane time.
