Description

Lincoln International Business School will be hosting a joint conference with the British Academy of Management and the Chartered Institute of Marketing that will examine and discuss academic, practitioner and student perceptions relating to the skills and knowledge needed for a marketing graduate to be readily employable.

The first session will consist of a series of short presentations examining the issues from different perspectives with the lead speaker being Dr Barry Ardley of Lincoln University author of 'Canons, Competencies and Critique, Delivering and Undergraduate Entrepreneurial Marketing Module'. Other speakers (details below) will then present differing practitioner perspectives.

Following refreshments and a networking opportunity the second session, led by Nick Taylor, Academic Lead for the marketing subject group at Lincoln International Business School, will discuss the issues raised and examine the differences between academic perception and the reality of practice.
