Elections to the Council
The British Academy of Management is built on the energy and contribution of its members, and becoming a Council member is an excellent way to give back to the community, drive the Academy forward and have your voice heard.
Council members are elected by a vote of paid up members of the Academy. This process is completed by 31st October each year and terms of office begin on 1st January, lasting for three years.
A call for nominations is circulated around May each year, and nominations need to be received in June. The list of candidates is then circulated to all members. Members have as many votes as there are positions to fill on the Council.
If you would like to speak to someone about the possibility of becoming a Council member, please contact the BAM office on 02073837770 or at firstname.lastname@example.org for an initial discussion.
