Description
This information session is for new and previous applicants to the biennial BAM Transitions and Management Knowledge & Education grant schemes. The session will give you the opportunity to understand the difference between the BAM grants, to learn about what makes a successful application, and to hear what the BAM grants have enabled previous grant holders to do and achieve in their career.
Part 1: Introduction to BAM grants schemes will help to establish the differences between the grants in terms of content and scope, to understand the eligibility criteria, and to learn more about the application timeline.
Part 2: What makes a successful grant application? This part seeks to provide delegates with an understanding of what makes a successful grant application from the reviewers’ perspective.
Part 3: What BAM grants have enabled previous grant holders to do. This part will give you an understanding of what even small amounts of research funding (often not prioritised in HEIs) can help to achieve, and (2) inspiration for your own professional development and career planning.
