Description

Multilingual qualitative research is becoming increasingly relevant, but many issues can arise when working in two languages simultaneously. Indeed, translation issues can be so serious that if they are not accounted for and managed properly they can impact on research projects or even derail them completely. This webinar explores some of these issues and offers insights into the challenges that research teams can face whilst offering suggestions about how these might be overcome. The session will help others engaged in similar research by supporting them to prepare for problems in advance.

During the event, participants will be encouraged to discuss questions and share thoughts on the unique problems and opportunities that arise in multilingual research settings. Participants' own experiences will be particularly welcomed.
