Tony Beasley Award Winner Announced at the BAM2017 Doctoral Symposium

The British Academy of Management is pleased to announce that Doctoral student, Stella Stoycheva, Ca'Foscari University of Venice, has been presented with the Tony Beasley Award at the annual British Academy of Management Doctoral Symposium at the University of Warwick.

Stella's paper entitled ‘Measuring Sustainability from a Historical Perspective: A Critical Assessment of Metrics and their Changes’. Chair of the Judging Committee, Professor Yehuda Baruch commented: ‘The subject is topical, there is evidence of clear contribution and making use of empirical data to develop a much needed knowledge for emerging theme in management studies.’

The Tony Beasley Doctoral Award is made in memory of former doctoral student Tony Beasley who served on the Council of the British Academy of Management. The award is designed to recognise outstanding doctoral research in the form of a high quality academic paper presented to the annual BAM conference.
