Nominations for REF2021 sub-panel membership

 Nominations for REF2021 sub-panel membership

As an association that has confirmed an interest in the forthcoming Research Excellence Framework (REF2021), The British Academy of Management (BAM) has been invited by HEFCE to submit nominations of panel members for the Business and Management sub-panel. BAM is therefore inviting interested individuals to put themselves forward as potential nominees.

BAM seeks nominations of candidates from a diverse range of backgrounds, institution types and geographical regions. We particularly welcome nominations of candidates from groups previously under-represented on Business and Management assessment panels, including women, people from black and ethnic minority backgrounds, and disabled people. In considering the suitability of individuals for nomination BAM will seek to ensure the full breadth of members’ research interests are represented by the nominations that BAM puts forward.

Individuals interested in being considered for nomination by BAM should submit a CV and a short statement indicating which sub-disciplines, subject areas and methodologies they are qualified to evaluate. Individuals should also indicate that they are aware of the provisional timetable and workload implications http://www.ref.ac.uk/about/researchuser/ Full details on the roles can be found in ‘Roles and recruitment of expert panels’ (REF 2017/03) available at www.ref.ac.uk/publications/2017/rolesandrecruitmentoftheexpertpanels

Please submit your application to Michael Fong at mfong@bam.ac.uk by 20 November 2017 at the latest.
