Key Information - Registering for the BAM2018 Conference

Please see the key information below on how to register for the BAM2018 Conference.

If you are not a current member of BAM you will need to join before being able to register for the conference.

After becoming a BAM member and paying the membership fees, you will be able to register for the BAM2018 Conference.

The prices for the conference are as follows:

  • £385 for Ordinary Members
  • £245 for Students
  • £60 Gala Dinner (Evening of Wednesday 5th September)
  1. Ensure you are logged into your membership account on the BAM Website
  2. Once you are logged in, go to the BAM2018 Conference Registration Page
  3. Click on Register to Attend BAM2018
  4. Follow the online instructions and complete the registration process
  5. Once you have completed the registration process, you will receive an email confirmation

Useful Information

All delegates wishing to attend the BAM Conference, will need to be a BAM member. This means that delegates will need to pay for their membership and conference fees.

The fee covers delegate's lunches and refreshments for the duration of the conference. There is also a Gala Dinner which is held on Wednesday 5th September and you will need to purchase a separate ticket for this event at £60

All delegates will need to arrange their own travel arrangements and accommodation.

Deadline to Register for Accepted Authors

AT LEAST ONE author from each accepted submission must have registered to attend the BAM2018 Conference by Tuesday 5th June 2018.

Accepted papers without AT LEAST ONE registered author will be withdrawn and will not be included in the conference proceedings and scheduled in the conference programme for presentation. After this point withdrawn submissions will not be reinstated.

Things to note

Student Members – your membership account will only be activated once BAM  receives a recently dated letter confirming your current student status. This must outline your details of your course and indicate when your course starts and finishes.
Please note that student ID cards will not be accepted.

Direct Debit Members – your membership account will only be activated once BAM receives the hard-copy of the direct debit form.
Please note that scanned/emailed copies of the form will not be accepted.
