On 2nd April BAM submitted its response to Higher Education Commission’s “Call for Evidence on Postgraduate Education Inquiry”.
BAM was pleased to have an opportunity to contribute to the inquiry. This Inquiry posed vital questions about the future of UK postgraduate taught and research provision.
These issues resonate with those of BAM members working in business schools which sometimes have challenging relationships with our parent universities.
Our response reflected the longstanding experience of business and management academics operating in highly competitive international markets, meeting the needs of postgraduate students who pay full-cost fees, and working in close co-operation with industry to enhance the relevance of our teaching as well as the rigour and impact of our research.
