The conference will focus on contextual matters, as they help to better place the research phenomenon and convey a realistic picture of the scene. Establishing the primacy of the context in organizing and managing, this conference seeks to bring together scholars engaged in research on a variety of diverse topics related to the Indian economy.
Given the contextual slant of the conference, academic contributions are invited along the following themes:

- Leadership in present day India
- Growth of the Indian MNE
- Governance issues in the Indian institutional context
- SMEs & family businesses
- Entrepreneurship, innovation and fast growth
- Technological development and skills
- Managing knowledge work

The aim of the 3rd Annual conference is to further build the platform created by the earlier two conferences and to bring the diverse India related research together in order to facilitate future collaborations as well as dissemination of the research. It is key to create such common ground given the rapid changes taking place in the Indian economy and to sustain the interest being created in further interdisciplinary research and collaborations that contribute to the emerging body of knowledge as well as creating links with key practitioners and stakeholders in India and abroad.
During the conference, we intend to organize specific developmental workshops for doctoral scholars and early career academics focusing on careers, publications, funding, and networking, amongst others.
