BAM is pleased to announce that the 2012 Annual Conference will be hosted by Cardiff Business School.

The final decision to hold the conference at Cardiff was made earlier in the year, after the University's proposal was discussed and approved by BAM Council. Professor Martin Kitchener of the Cardiff Business School had this to say on the decision:

"We are absolutely delighted that Cardiff Business School has been selected to host the BAM annual conference in 2012. Many of our academics have been heavily involved with BAM for a number of years because we considerate it to be the leading British academic network for business and management scholarship. Since we successfully hosted the conference in 2001, our school has climbed to 4th place in the UK research rankings and our city has developed into a thriving European capital. We look forward to welcoming the BAM community to Cardiff, and to working with the BAM office to host an outstanding and rewarding event."

Cardiff Business School has an international reputation, a strong research tradition and a longstanding relationship with BAM, making it a fitting choice of venue for BAM's flagship annual event. We look forward to working with Professor Martin Kitchener, Associate Dean at Cardiff, as well as Zoe Radnor, Rachel Ashworth, Laura Davies and other colleagues at the University to deliver a memorable event for our members.
