Doctoral Student Representation

BAM welcomes its new Doctoral Representatives for 2011. The two representatives have been co-opted onto BAM Council to be the voice of Doctoral Students.


They are:

  • Paul Caulfield , University of Bath (Full Time Doctoral Student Representative)
  • Anne Clare Gillon , University of the West of Scotland (Part Time Doctoral Student Representative)

In addition, BAM has appointed four BAM Champions, who will represent BAM to doctoral students on a regional basis and provide a key support link between the society and doctoral students nationwide. They are:

  • Mercy Adeyeye , University of Essex Business School
  • Keith Glanfield , Aston Business School
  • Paul Abbott , Leeds Metropolitan University
  • Bethel Ihugba , Greenwich School of Management London

The new doctoral team will join the Membership Services and Conferences Subcommittee, chaired by Jacky Holloway, and will perform a crucial role in BAM’s continuing provision of support for PhD students.
