The 2012 CMI Management Articles of the Year competition is open for entries until 31 October, and BAM2012 delegates were urged to take this opportunity to bring their research to the attention of the 90,000 members of the Chartered Management Institute.
Winner of the inaugural 2011 Award, Beverly Alimo-Metcalfe, emphasised how exposure
through this competition enables academics to raise their profile and engender debate. Sally Halper and Abby Ghobadian explained how British Library and BAM support the
scheme, while Ian MacEachern demonstrated its impact for practitioners.
The conference presentation by CMI's Director of Policy and Research, Petra Wilton, can be downloaded here, and more information about how to enter the competitition is at www.managers.org.uk/toparticles.
