Two Vacancies at The Good Employment Learning Lab at Manchester Metropolitan University


Please find details below of two roles at Manchester Metropolitan University; Project Fellow x2 (Good Employment) and Research Associate. This role will play a pivotal role in the project management and delivery of the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) funded Good Employment Learning Lab.

The Good Employment Learning Lab will work with partners  to develop effective approaches to raising line manager’s people management capabilities. In a place-based experiment, it will operate as the Good Employment Learning Lab and work with the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter. In a sector-based approach, it will operate as the Adult Social Care Good Employment Learning Lab and work with social care partners within and beyond Greater Manchester. Your role will utilise the skills of an HR professional, and will work collaboratively in a small team, to enable the operationalisation of Learning Labs. You will focus on the Greater Manchester or Adult Social Care Learning Labs but also working flexibly across the entire project to ensure service continuity and integration. You will also work with a Research Associate and senior academic team to evaluate the project and progressively develop more effective means of developing line management capability.
