BAM2026 Gala Networking Reception

Our BAM2026 Gala Networking Reception will bring together the very best of the UK’s management research community for an evening that blends celebration, connection, and inspiration. As the flagship social event of the conference, the Gala honours the extraordinary commitment, intellectual rigour, and collaborative spirit that has propelled BAM to become the largest academic management gathering in the UK.

Set against a vibrant and elegant backdrop of the Royal Holloway, University of London campus, the Gala offers a relaxed environment for attendees to expand their networks, spark new collaborations, and engage in conversations that transcend disciplinary boundaries. Whether reconnecting with long-standing colleagues or meeting future research partners, the evening is designed to foster relationships that last well beyond the conference.

In order to maximise availability of tickets and make the best use of space available to us at Royal Holloway, we will be holding our Gala Networking Reception in TWO different venues; the sensational Founder's Hall and the visually stunning Picture Gallery.

To offer you this amazing opportunity to attend, we have set up two distinct ticket add-ons:

Both tickets are priced at the same amount of £66 (inc. VAT). and will feature:

  • Live entertainment (TBC)
  • Light finger buffet
    Please note that food provided will not constitute a substantial evening meal.
  • Complimentary drinks
    Additional drinks may be purchased from the bar.
  • 40th Anniversary Quiz Night

Before booking, please be aware of the following:

  • The Gala Networking Reception is split across two venues specifically to accommodate a larger number of delegates.
  • When selecting your ticket, you may only choose one venue to attend. Due to capacities for each venue, we are unable to allow delegates access to both events.
  • If you wish to attend with specific colleagues or friends, you must coordinate your venue selection before the registration process.
  • Once a ticket is purchased, we will be unable to accommodate venue switches during the Conference or on the day of the event.
