Description

The British Academy of Management's Corporate Governance SIG, the Centre for Enterprise and Innovation (De Montfort University), Finance and Banking Research Centre (DMU), the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research (the University of Manchester) and the Centre for Innovative and Sustainable Finance (The University of Portsmouth) are delighted to jointly invite you to the 2nd Early Career Researchers Conference – SIIB2022. The theme of the conference is “Research in Turbulent Times: New Thinking”.

The conference welcomes submissions in the areas of Strategy, Innovation, Corporate Governance, Finance, and International Business (SIIB). The conference aims to help early-career researchers (ECRs) to showcase their research, receive developmental feedback, learn more about academic life, and develop publication strategies.

The conference will feature keynote presentations from leading scholars in the SIIB areas, panel presentations on career development relevant to ECRs (e.g., "The Jobs Market" and "Publishing in Top Academic Journals"), and a series of parallel track sessions for ECRs to present their ongoing research.

ECRs are invited to submit abstracts from their finished research or research in progress that enhances our understanding of the broad areas of strategy, innovation, corporate governance, finance, and international business.
