Research Career Accelerator is designed to help business and management academics make that transition - wherever they are in the world and whatever academic career pathway they are following.
Ready to take the next step in your research career?
You’ve built a solid academic track record. You’ve published, taught, supervised students and contributed to your school or department. But what got you here won’t necessarily get you to the next stage.
As your career develops, the focus shifts: from individual achievements to a clear research identity, a stronger publication and funding portfolio, meaningful collaborations, and a growing role in the research community.
Research Career Accelerator is designed to help business and management academics make that transition - wherever they are in the world and whatever academic career pathway they are following.
Across three interactive online sessions, you’ll work with experienced academic leaders to take stock of where you are, identify where you want to go, and turn that ambition into practical action. Each session combines expert insight, facilitated activities and open discussion, giving you the opportunity to learn from both senior colleagues and peers internationally.
You’ll leave each session with ideas, tools and actions you can put to work straight away.
A connected development journey
Taken together, the three sessions provide a complete development journey - from strengthening your own research strategy, to expanding your opportunities and collaborations, to developing as a research leader.
Designed for an international academic community, Research Career Accelerator welcomes business and management academics from across the world and is relevant to a range of academic career systems, institutions and progression pathways.
All sessions will take place online between 12:00 and 14:00 UK time.
In order to receive a Certificate of Attendance, delegates must attend all three session.
