The series is designed for doctoral students and early career researchers with the aim of enriching their experience of the 2023 Doctoral Symposium.
The purpose of this series of events planned by the Organisational Transformation, Change and Development (OTCD) SIG leading up to the BAM 2023 Doctoral Symposium is to support the overall development of Doctoral Student members of the SIG and to create networking opportunities for members. The series is designed for doctoral students and early career researchers with the aim of enriching their experience of the 2023 Doctoral Symposium. During the events, experienced professors, lecturers, and members of the SIG will share knowledge and insights on BAM, the SIG, preparing for the 2023 Doctoral Symposium, and developing skills required for doctoral research and beyond. The second event, themed "Skills required for doctoral research", will include: Developing doctoral research skills and a Q&A with a selection of student submissions for Doctoral Symposium 2023. |

Ikenna Okoro is a Professional Doctorate candidate at the University of Buckingham. He has extensive operational excellence experience within the manufacturing and service industries across Europe and the United Kingdom.
His research interests are operational excellence, organisational change, and sense-making. He is the Doctoral Student representative of the Organisational Transformation, Transformation, and Development (OTCD) Special Interest Group (SIG).

Dr. John Mendy is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Lead for MSc HRM at the University of Lincoln.
His research interests include: resilience research, the intersection between International HRM and International Business, Organisational Studies, Strategy, labour/employment relationships, autism and employment/HRM policies and practices with specific foci on SMEs, small family businesses and MNEs in developed and emerging economies.

Cancellations
Cancellations received within 14 days of booking your place on the event will receive a full refund.
Cancellations received after the 14-day cancellation period and later than 14 days before the start date of the event will not be eligible for a refund.
Although we endeavour to run all events as advertised, BAM reserves the right to cancel any event if, for example, there are not enough people to justify running the event or if other significant unforeseen circumstances arise.
