The ECA (Early Career Academic) Network is pleased to share its next informal, online networking session.
This is part of a series of sessions which will provide an informal space to discuss our experiences of being ECA’s and the successes and challenges that may come with that.
The topic focus for this month’s session is: “Starting an ECA career - Knowing your Worth”
- Finding a suitable job that fits the ECA's career development and aspirations in academia
- Negotiation - negotiating pay when given a job and negotiating your workload
- We will be inviting a careers lady from DMU who will be giving tips on a job spec and how to apply for an academic job
