This informal monthly coffee chat is hosted by our Management Consultancy Network, and is for any BAM member who wants to connect and discuss issues around Management Consultancy.
Hosted by our Management Consultancy Network, this coffee morning is an opportunity for any BAM member interested in the network to build up connections through informal chats. No preparation is required, just join the call with your preferred morning tea or coffee.
This month's discussion focus is below:
“What are your views on the significant changes that lie ahead, both in management consultancy and the environment in which it is practised?”
CMCE recently published a report on 'Consulting skills for 2030' with content that is relevant for the discussion and will be brought up:
https://www.cmce.org.uk/knowledge-bank/consulting-skills-2030
There is the habit at the start of each year to take a look at the year ahead and attempt to predict what lies ahead, and we in the Management Consultancy Network see no reason why we shouldn’t do the same.
There will of course be the continuation of trends that have been around for a while, but management consultancy is about discontinuity, so our first coffee morning of the year will be to share and discuss participants’ views of the bends that lie in the road ahead. In particular, what are the straws in the wind that participants that might prefigure significant changes both in management consultancy and the environment in which it is practised? Of course this will be speculative – but also interesting!
Come to our coffee morning not only to share your thoughts but also to hear what your fellow members predict.
The session opens with a guided discussion from 10.30 until 11:00 and the Zoom call will stay open until 11:30 for those who wish to continue informal networking.
