Paper Development Workshop (PDW) on How to publish Strategy related research in leading 3-4* journals
The BAM Strategy Special Interest Group invites members to an exciting opportunity - the Paper Development Workshop for mid-career strategy researchers on "Publishing strategy related articles in leading 4/3* business and management journals: being held on Monday, January 13 2020, 11.30AM - 4.30PM at the Salford Business School, University of Salford, Manchester, UK.
This PDW is aimed at mid-career strategy researchers and will focus on the practicalities of how to craft, write, and review strategy related articles for submission in top quality and 4* journals and deal with the review process.

The PDW will feature panel discussions and short presentations by review panelists and roundtable discussions between the senior reviewers and manuscript authors.

Paper Submission Details
Submission of manuscripts - for selection
Submit your draft abstract summerising the argument of your research. The draft could take any form from one-page, bullet-point document to an extended abstract of 600 words (excluding references).
Whichever the format, please, make sure that the word count is up to 600 words -otherwise, the paper will not be allocated.
In addition to paper reviews by senior reviewers, the authors of the accepted papers will also be expected to read and provide reviewer comments on two submissions for the PDW.

Travel Information
- Please travel to Salford Crescent train station - Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Victoria stations both offer frequent connecting trains for Salford Crescent, just 10-12 minutes travel time from either Manchester Piccadilly or Manchester Victoria.
- Once out of the Salford Crescent train station, Peel Building is a large, red-brick building on the left-hand side approx. three-four minutes walk. The room for the BAM event presentations and registration is Peel Building Room 103. The Peel Building is used for teaching by the University of Salford Business School as well as the School of Environment and Life Sciences, as shown on the Google map

- Peel building is a listed building that was opened in 1896 by the then Duke and Duchess of York (latterly George V and Queen Mary).
- Salford Museum and Art Gallery and Working Class Movement Library are nearby places of interest.
- Parking options are available on the university premises behind the nearby Salford Museum or the front of the Salford Museum and Peel building. (University parking costs less for day-long parking).
