The Doctoral Networking Café aims to facilitate doctoral and early career researchers networking. The BAM Project Experiences (PREX) SIG wants to provide a platform where researchers in the early stages of their research journey discuss their research in interactive networking sessions.

The focus of May's Doctoral Networking Cafe is 'Life after your PhD: Starting your professional career'.

Many of us wonder what career path to follow after finishing our PhD. This includes the dilemma of choosing a position in the industry or academia. This can overwhelm many PhD candidates when they want to apply for jobs. Dr Jane Dowson will provide us with her insights and share the steps she followed to start her academic career.

The Doctoral Networking Café sessions take place on the last Wednesday of the month every second month.
