Education Director of the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, University of Bristol
He plays a key role in shaping and enhancing the educational vision and strategy of the Centre, as well as ensuring the academic quality and standards of its programmes and units. He has a wealth of experience in senior academic management positions, having led and taught various subjects related to innovation and entrepreneurship at four UK universities. He also has a strong background in the creative industries, having worked on international advertising and marketing campaigns for major media corporations in film, music, and television. He is passionate about teaching and mentoring students who want to develop their entrepreneurial skills and mindset, as well as collaborating with external partners and stakeholders to create opportunities for students to engage with real-world problems and solutions. He also contributes to the delivery of units as a unit director or team member, teaching approaches to creative, rapid idea generation and innovation.

In addition to overseeing the PhD programme, he teaches Entrepreneurship as well as Design and Systems thinking, helping students to develop their creative and entrepreneurial potential. His research focuses on Service Design for Entrepreneurship, exploring how design tools and a service oriented logic can help entrepreneurs learn faster and be more successful. He is interested in advancing the knowledge and practice of Design for Entrepreneurship and shaping the next generation of Designers and Entrepreneurs.
