Synopsis 

From global to local economies the race to Net zero by 2050 is fully on! This event will bring together participants from academia, policy and practice to exchange ideas on how to make the transition to Net Zero a reality.

A set of presentations from thought leaders in sustainability related performance will be showcased. Net Zero pathways from different perspectives will be presented, and preliminary results from current/recent projects will be shared. Workshops will also help to provoke new thinking on addressing the key constraints affecting global sustainability success.

Strategies to Net Zero will be explored with some practical applications in key sectors in the UK and Europe, such as: visitor economy, manufacturing, agriculture, creative industries, etc.

To get to campus East you can catch the 66 or 67 bus from opposite the rail station, for Piazza building, please get off at Ron Cooke Hub. Allow at least 30 mins.

Alternatively, taxis are available from outside the station, it normally takes 15 mins.
