The interface of Human Resource Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship: A research and policy incubator
The interface of Human Resource Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship: A research and policy incubator
Human Resource Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship have the potential to address grand challenges facing the UK and Irish economies and further afield. Organizations face a perennial challenge in encouraging, capturing and leveraging insights, ideas and imaginings from those employees and stakeholders who are at the crux of practice. Indeed, many organizations are held captive by the tidal pull of the familiar.
This incubator will bring together scholars, policy makers and practitioners to explore the promising research direction and opportunities at the nexus between HRM, innovation and entrepreneurship. Having key stakeholders together in one dedicated space and conversation will allow us to explore points of synergy in order to develop compelling new ideas to address some of critical issues of our day.
The event will be Chaired by Professor Helen Shipton (Nottingham Trent University) and Associate Professor Brian Harney (Dublin City University). It will involve a series of keynote presentations by academics, policy makers and practitioners with time for questions and answers. The second half of the session will involve a series of research roundtables with a view to exploring and devising key research questions to take advantage of the academic integration of cognizant disciplines of HRM, Innovation and Entrepreneurship on one hand, and address the challenges of practice on the other.
