BAM Council Elections – Call for nominations will open on Wednesday 1st June 2022

From Wednesday 1st June 2022, we will be inviting nominations (including self-nominations) from BAM members to serve on our Council and its sub-committees. There are 6 vacancies for election this year to serve from January 2023 until December 2025. Full members of the British Academy of Management should look out for an email next week containing the details of how to nominate and what is involved in serving on BAM’s Council. If you do not receive your letter, please ensure your membership is up to date; otherwise please contact Roisin Durning-Broderick on [email protected] . Please note student members are not eligible to stand or to vote in this election; student members elect two representatives in a separate election each autumn and will be separately notified.

Professor Claire Hannibal (SIGs sub-committee) and Professor Robert MacIntosh (Research & Publications sub-committee) will reach the end of their 2nd terms of office at the end of December 2022 and must step down by rotation. We are hugely grateful to them for their service over so many years.

Professor Horace Qile He (SIGs sub-committee), Professor Jonathan Liu (Academic Affairs of Conference & Capacity Building sub-committee), Professor Carole Elliot and Professor Natalia Vershinina (both Research & Publications sub-committee) will reach the ends of their first terms of office and are permitted to stand again for a second term of office.
