BAM journals celebrate!

The recent announcement by Clarivate of the 2020 Journal Citation Reports demonstrates clearly that our two peer-reviewed journals are world leading outlets for excellent and rigorous research. We are very excited to see that the International Journal of Management Reviews (IJMR) Journal Impact Factor (JIF) has increased again this year from 8.631 in 2019 to 13.419 in 2020. This means that IJMR’s ranking has risen to 2/153 in Business, and 3/226 in Management. We were also delighted to see that the British Journal of Management impact factor (IF) has risen from 3.023 in 2019 to 6.567 in 2020, and that BJM has risen in rank to 41/153 in Business (previously 60 in 2019) and 53/226 in Management: (previously 88 in 2019). We know that the 2020 IFs include an element of uplift relating to a change in the JIF calculation method (this short blog post has further details) but that is only a small part of the story. We are hugely grateful to our outstanding and dedicated editorial teams, who work extremely hard to ensure that BAM’s journals are worthy of the leading community of management scholars and provide a trusted service for scientists everywhere.
