Join the new BAM MKE Assessment Working Group
Assessment and feedback are being reshaped by generative AI, work ready requirements and skills, inclusivity, growing concerns about academic integrity, and evolving student needs. These challenges are too complex for any single module, programme, institution, or discipline team to address alone.
The new **BAM MKE Assessment Working Group** invites colleagues across business and management education to come together to think, experiment, share, question, and build something useful for the sector. We are beginning with a shared problem, an agreed space for collaboration, and an invitation to develop practical, evidence-informed ways forward.
Our first collective task will be to develop a *living practice library*: a human-centred, usable, and academically friendly space where colleagues can share assessment and feedback practices as lived experiences rather than only polished success stories. We want to capture not only “what worked”, but also the tensions, failures, adaptations, student and staff experiences, and lessons learned along the way. Please share what you as an academic wants to see and how you like it, even if you are not planning to join the workgroup:
This might include short case studies, one-page visual summaries, audio or video reflections, assessment briefs, rubrics, feedback templates, examples of AI-related guidance, or reflective notes on how practices could be adapted in other contexts.
The working group is open to anyone interested in rethinking assessment and feedback in business and management education in the age of AI. Whether you are already experimenting with new approaches, grappling with difficult questions, or simply keen to join the conversation, we would be delighted to welcome you. We aim to have monthly meetings ( the date and time will be agreed on in consultation with the members)
