As paper submissions come to a close on 1 March, and as we build up to the BAM2024 Conference at Nottingham Business School, we are pleased to announce some of our keynote speakers who will be joining us at the Conference this year, speaking to us about ‘Achieving transformation for greater good, within societal, organisational and personal barriers and enablers.’

Bruce Avolio
Bruce has published 12 books and over 150 articles on leadership models and methods and currently has a Google citation count of 206,000. He has consulted with hundreds of organizations around the globe in Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East, in the design and delivery of leadership assessment and development systems. Based on a recently completed Stanford University study, out of 6,880,389 scientists, who have published at least five papers in any of 22 major disciplines, ranging from biology to engineering to economics to management, Bruce’s research record was rated in the top 0.01% of the most-cited scientific researchers overall, and #25 among the 36,319 researchers in the category of business & management.
Lynn Saunders OBE
Lynn Saunders OBE is the the Head of Law and Social Sciences and a Professor of Applied Criminology. She has a professional background working in the Criminal Justice System in England and Wales, working in both prisons and in the community. Most recently as Governor of a large medium secure treatment site for people with sexual convictions, Professor Saunders co-founded a charity, (the Safer Living Foundation) in 2014 with the aim to prevent sexual (re) offending.
Jean-Pascal Gond
Jean-Pascal Gond is a Professor of Corporate Social Responsibility at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass), City University London.
Before arriving at Bayes in 2012, he held various academic positions at HEC Montréal (University of Montréal, Canada) and at the International Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility at Nottingham University Business School. He earned his PhD in Management Sciences from the University of Toulouse I (France), graduated from the Ecole Normale Supérieure of Cachan (1996), and was a recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship (2008). His research mobilizes organization theory and economic sociology to investigate corporate social responsibility (CSR). Key research programmes currently in progress on CSR include the roles of standards and metrics in the institutionalization of CSR in the financial marketplace and in corporations, the influence of CSR on employees, and the variations of CSR across varieties of capitalism. His research in economic sociology is concerned with the influence of theory on managerial practice, the governance of self-regulation, and the interplay of society’s commodification and markets’ socialization.
He has published in the fields of corporate responsibility and organization theory in leading academic journals such as Business Ethics Quarterly, Business and Society, Economy and Society, Human Relations, Organization Science, Organization Studies, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Management Studies.
Our BAM2024 Conference will also feature our Professional Development Workshops, Meet the Editors sessions and lots of opportunities for networking. Chaired by Professor Lynn Oxborrow, and Professor Helen Shipton from Nottingham Trent University, the BAM2024 Conference is shaping up to be the place to be this September.
