British Academy of Management ‘AI in research, education and leadership’ Repository
In Spring 2025, addressing our strategic priority to support business and management academics to use AI responsibly in their academic practice, we invited all BAM members to complete our Generative-AI Barometer survey.
The purpose of this survey was for us to understand where our members’ expertise and experiences in using generative-AI, and where members were looking for support across the different elements of their academic role. The findings of this survey indicated that there were pockets of expertise across our members, while many others lacked confidence, and lacked experience of how generative-AI might help them in their research, education and leadership practice.
In response to this, we are establishing a British Academy of Management ‘AI in research, education and leadership’ Repository. This repository will provide examples of how academics have used generative-AI and/or how they have addressed the challenges and opportunities it presents.
We are therefore asking you to share your examples of how you have used generative-AI as part of your academic practice. We are seeking examples of both successful and less successful use so that others can learn from your experience.Your summaries need only be brief and can be from any aspect of your academic practice including, Research, Education and Leadership.
To submit your own exemplar/case please complete this form: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/AIRepository/
You may submit your exemplar/case-study anonymously if you would prefer.
We look forward to receiving your submissions.
