The British Academy of Management (BAM) is pleased to announce the award holders for the 2025 grant schemes as part of its mission to build a thriving, pluralistic research community by supporting relevant, ethical and innovative management and business research.

BAM Transitions 1 Research Grant (maximum £6,000 per project)
- Dr Liz Cooper, Heriot-Watt University - Role morality and sustainability professionals: managing expectations of sustainable behaviours in work and non-work roles
- Dr Kerrie Howard, Royal Holloway University of London – Climbing the Public Sector Ladder: Enablers and Barriers in Middle Managers' Career Progression
BAM Transitions 2 Research Grant (maximum £6,000 per project)
- Dr Vidya Sukumara Panicker, Loughborough University – Closing the Skills Gap: Strengthening Governance in Local Charities in the UK
- Professor Julie Davies, Brunel University of London – Healthcare Leadership Competencies, Well-Being and Sustainable Career Ecosystems: Between AI and Burnout
BAM Management Knowledge and Education (maximum £6,000 per project)
- Dr Kellie Forbe-Simpson, Northumbria University – An exploration of student experential learning through an identity lens
- Dr Kate Seymour, Manchester Metropolitan University – Fostering Place-Based Ecological Literacy for Regenerative Management Education
