The British Academy of Management (BAM) is pleased to announce the award holders for the 2025 grant schemes as part of its mission to build a thriving, pluralistic research community by supporting relevant, ethical and innovative management and business research.

BAM Transitions 1 Research Grant (maximum £6,000 per project)

  • Dr Liz Cooper, Heriot-Watt University - Role morality and sustainability professionals: managing expectations of sustainable behaviours in work and non-work roles
  • Dr Kerrie Howard, Royal Holloway University of London Climbing the Public Sector Ladder: Enablers and Barriers in Middle Managers' Career Progression

BAM Transitions 2 Research Grant (maximum £6,000 per project)

  • Dr Vidya Sukumara Panicker, Loughborough UniversityClosing the Skills Gap: Strengthening Governance in Local Charities in the UK

BAM Management Knowledge and Education (maximum £6,000 per project)

  • Dr Kellie Forbe-Simpson, Northumbria UniversityAn exploration of student experential learning through an identity lens
  • Dr Kate Seymour, Manchester Metropolitan University Fostering Place-Based Ecological Literacy for Regenerative Management Education
