Fully funded (fees plus stipend) full-time 4-year PhD available in behavioural corporate governance at the University of Exeter Business School. You will have a background in one of the following subject areas: psychology, sociology, accounting, behavioural economics, or management. Our team explores the actions of board of directors, board committees and board chairs. Topics which could be considered relevant for the application essay include: how behaviour impacts decision making; how information is processed on the board; inclusion and psychological safety of board members; board evaluation and effectiveness; non-financial narrative reporting; local/global regulatory impacts; all within the context of sustainable decision making.
