Marchington Research Grant - call for submissions open!
The CIPD Professor Mick Marchington Applied Research Grant supports exceptional early career researchers in HR and related fields. Up to three grants of up to £6,000 each are awarded annually. In this, the second year of the grant, submissions are invited on three areas:
- Changing approaches to people management and work organisation
- The changing focus and role of the HR function
- The role of line managers in HR and L&D practice.

The successful applicants will be announced at the 8th CIPD Applied Research Conference, which – appropriately this year – will be held at Mick’s academic home, the Alliance Manchester Business School.
