International collaborations are a very important part of academic work, so we have built a number of warm and active partnerships with our sister societies overseas in Australia and New Zealand (ANZAM), Ireland (IAM) and Italy (SIMA), and now with Spain through ACEDE.
We look forward to our Presidents – Professor Katy Mason and Professor Carmen Cabello Medina - signing a Memorandum of Understanding between BAM and ACEDE at both Annual Conferences this year: in the beautiful cities of Valencia and Nottingham.
In 2024 we are delighted to announce that members of BAM may additionally opt to become members of our sister body in Spain - ACEDE - for an additional charge of just £18 for the calendar year. ACEDE members can purchase discounted membership of BAM through the same scheme and are already joining our community in significant numbers. We are so pleased to welcome them and look forward to many fruitful collaborations between our communities.
BAM members interested in this new shared membership scheme with ACEDE should look out for more information in due course, once the necessary IT update has been implemented within our system.
