Rennes School of Business offers a full-time 3-year PhD scholarship: Artificial Intelligence in managing diversity and equality

The AI-driven Business Area of Excellence at Rennes School of Business is offering a 3-year PhD scholarship for a talented applicant who is interested in human resource (HR) management, diversity management and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The research will explore how HR professionals understand and utilize AI and what impact they perceive this has on decision making with regard to equality and diversity. The research will therefore investigate how HR professionals interact and work with such technologies, and how this has changed the function of the process in question. The project will further explore ways in which the technology has changed interactions between individuals with regards to decision-making and wider behaviour. This will include an examination of the relationships between employees, and the richness of the discussions leading to decisions being made. Your profile

  • You are an enthusiastic and highly motivated researcher and are genuinely interested in the role of AI in HR and diversity management
  • You have a Master’s degree in business or management-related areas and a high GPA on courses followed.
  • You have a creative mindset and excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • You are a native speaker or possess English proficiency shown by a recent (2 years’ maximum) TOEFL (equivalent 110 IBT minimum) or IELTS (7.5 overall score with >/=7 in all 4 sections).
