RRBM Dare to Care Dissertation Scholarship

The RRBM community is pleased to announce the inaugural Call for Applications to the RRBM Dare to Care Dissertation Scholarship. In its inaugural year, this program will award up to eight scholarships of $10,000 each to doctoral students in business schools who are conducting dissertation research aligned with the RRBM Principles of Responsible Research. Eligible research topics will focus on economic inequality, racial, gender or other forms of social justice in organizations, thereby contributing to meeting one or more of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

Potential applicants are encouraged to register for one of two Information Sessions scheduled October 6 and 7, 2021. The Information Sessions will address the award application and selection process, and also allow time for questions from potential applicants.

Applications will be accepted beginning November 1, 2021 through December 1, 2021. Award decisions will be announced March 1, 2022.

The eligible applicant is a doctoral candidate at the beginning stage of the dissertation research; is studying in a business school in any of the disciplines as long as the research falls within the domain described above; and is familiar with the RRBM Principles of Responsible Research. The Dare to Care Dissertation Scholarship recognizes the importance of young scholars and their mentors to the pursuit of credible and useful research in the business and management disciplines.
