‘Taking Race Seriously’ and ‘Training Future Managers to Improve Workforce Health’ now free to view

We are pleased to make freely available two excellent sessions from the 2020 BAM Conference In The Cloud.

  1. Our BAM Fellows College presented a highly informative panel discussion on ‘Taking Race Seriously’. The session considered ethnic and gender representation within universities, where problems lie, and what steps can usefully be taken. It also reflected on the BAM/CMI 2017 Delivering Diversity report and looked at recommendations from the Parker Review, all the while underlining BAM’s strategic drive to take a lead on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). Presentations were made by from Professor Susan Vinnicombe, Professor Nelarine Cornelius, Professor Howard Thomas and Professor Nic Beech. Watch the session here
  2. The role of business and business schools in Training Future Managers to improve Workforce Health was discussed by a high-level panel of speakers who included, the CEO of bp, Bernard Looney; Richard Heron, bp’s Vice President of Health; Dr Judith Grant, Director of Health and Wellbeing at MACE; and founding BAM president and wellbeing guru, Professor Sir Cary Cooper.
