This event will take place in-person only.
Event description

This afternoon research symposium brings together academic researchers working on nonprofit projects with nonprofit and social enterprise practitioners in order to ensure that the insight from our research

  • can be communicated in an accessible way so that practitioners of a wide range of organisations can benefit from the insights.
  • feeds directly into practice through identifying the 'so what?' element coming out of the research
  • can be developed going forward through understanding the issues and gaps in knowledge that practitioners have.

It focuses on topical nonprofit marketing issues such as the role of brand, measuring stakeholder impact, strengthening communications, segmentation of supporters, effective philanthropy.

The event is being organised by the Marketing and Retail SIG as part of their programme of community events but is open to any researcher working on these issues.

The timings for the event are 14:00 -18:00 UK time, with registrations and refreshments from 13:30 UK time.

Registrations close on the 1st March 2023 at 23:59 UK time.
