International Journal of HRD, Policy, Practice & Research (IJHRD) is preparing a special edition on Coaching and Mentoring by guest editor Dr Jenni Jones, Wolverhampton. The International Journal of HRD Practice, Policy & Research is a new peer-reviewed journal which seeks to bring together international practitioner and academic expertise to promote and support the understanding and practice of Human Resource Development. The Journal seeks to bridge the academic practice divide, first and foremost from a practice perspective. As a practice-centred journal, it is aimed at synergising practice with theory to develop further insights. The journal is critically reflective and brings to light professional practitioners’ insight, ideas and understanding on the contemporary issues and challenges facing HRD, its impact and influence. As such, it is welcoming submissions on applied research by academics and perspectives papers by practitioners who can share their evaluation of interventions.
