The Doctoral Networking Café aims to facilitate doctoral and early career researchers networking. The BAM Project Experiences (PREX) SIG wants to provide a platform where researchers in the early stages of their research journey discuss their research in interactive networking sessions.
The focus of September's Doctoral Networking Cafe is 'Route to publication: From Conference to Journal'.
Researchers put a massive effort into presenting their research at conferences wishing to receive helpful feedback. But unfortunately, on many occasions, the paper does not progress from a conference to a journal publication. Dr Benito Mignacca will share his experience of successfully turning his conference paper into a journal publication.
The Doctoral Networking Café sessions take place on the last Wednesday of the month every second month.
