SAMS/BAM 2024 Grant Scheme application portal now open! Recording of mandatory online information session available now

The British Academy of Management (BAM), and the Society for the Advancement of Management Studies (SAMS) are pleased to announce that the grant application portal is open to applications for the following grant schemes:

  • SAMS/BAM Research and Capacity Building Grant Scheme (maximum 1 project for £60,000)

A recording from the free mandatory information session that took place in November is available now.  Registration in Zoom is required to view the recording:

An optional grant writing workshop is taking place on Wednesday 29th November from 14:00 to 16:00 UK time (free to BAM members, £50 for non-members).  Registration is limited to 30 participants, with a waiting list in operation. More details on how to book are available here:

The deadline for applications for the scheme in the BAM Grant Scheme application portal is Monday 29th January 2024 at 17:00 UK time, and the deadline for institutional approvals is Thursday 1st February 2024 at 17:00 UK time.

SAMS and BAM Research and Capacity Building Grant Scheme 2024

The scheme partnership strengthens the commitment of both organisations to support management research and promote capacity building.

SAMS/BAM Research and Capacity Building grants are aimed at UK-based researchers who want to boost their research capacity and/or network within and beyond academia.
