Staged by the BAM Leadership and Leadership Development (LLD) Special Interest Group
The Leadership and Leadership Development Special Interest Group (BAM) in collaboration with University of Birmingham are pleased to announce a hybrid event specifically designed to support academics at all levels and practitioners interested in leadership.
This session explores the concept of dark leadership - behaviours and styles that may yield short-term results but can ultimately have harmful effects on individuals, teams, and organisations. The panel will discuss how such leadership emerges and persists, and how research and development practice might respond.
The event offers a space for discussion, networking, and knowledge-sharing for those working in and studying leadership. It supports the BAM Leadership and Leadership Development SIG’s aim to connect academic insight with practical application.
Format: Hybrid Panel Discussion + Networking
Duration: 2 hours
12:00 – 12:45 – Arrival & Networking Lunch
12:45 – 13:45 – Moderated Panel Discussion
